Governing Law

You should know where we stand before anything ever goes wrong. These Terms and Conditions, and any separate agreement under which we supply you with products or services, are governed by and read according to the laws of Malaysia, and its conflict of law provisions do not come into it. Use our website or our services and you accept what follows.

Where would a disagreement be settled?

In Malaysia, and only in Malaysia. The exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia reaches:

  • The site and what you buy on it – any dispute, controversy or claim that arises out of or relates to your use of this website, or to a transaction you made here.

  • These Terms themselves – any claim touching their breach, their termination or their invalidity.

Could I ask for it to be heard elsewhere?

No. You give up any objection to the venue of legal proceedings, whether on the grounds of an inconvenient forum or anything similar.

Does any of this change if I am not in Malaysia?

Two points if you are reading this from further afield:

  • We promise nothing about suitability – we do not represent that the material, products or services here are fit for use, or even obtainable, in other locations.

  • Your own law is yours to keep – reach this site from outside Malaysia and compliance with applicable local laws rests with you.
